Final Countdown to Proud Kronos Ownership

Post by Myq »

Greetings to all . I'm Myq . This is my very first post not only on Korg Forums but on the whole internet as well . It's my honor to be a part of this Forum , and I'd like to express my sincere thanks , gratitude and respect to Sharp , Dan , Rich , all moderators and all on Korg Forums . The friendliness , helpfulness and the strong sense of warm community spirit is simply something money cannot buy .

Having been following this forum for almost 2 years now ( from dreaming of an M3 to now Kronos is my dream ) , I've learned a really lots and lots of stuff from you all . Time flies , and NOW I've finally brave myself to make the decision to go for my dreams . I've decided to get my Korg Kronos .

In the next few hours more , I'll be getting my Kronos 88 . To be honest , I'm really nervous now . Having seen all those complaints and fault report treads , I'm really worried and anxious . What if I fall into that one percent of the unlucky ? ( touch wood ) Well , I guess now I'm all in the mercy of Luck and Fate , and all I could do now is just pray and wish . Korg Forums PLEASE wish me good luck .

Well , no matter what happen , Kronos is still my dream . It's still my best choice , it still is my decision and I'll still love it . Coming from a simple arranger background , Korg Kronos will be my first Workstation , my first Synth , as well as my first Korg . I know that the road ahead would be a rough one , But I'm confident that this very forum , Korg Forums , will guide me through and is always here for me .

A few more hours to go . A few more hours to reach my dreams . A few more hours to my proud Kronos ownership . Wish me Good Luck . Thanks .

P.S : Sorry for my lengthy first post . I'm nervous . Very nervous .

I can understand the feeling when you get the new synth, guess a lot of people had the same feeling.

Wish you good luck with enjoying it!

Congratulations on the Kronos, and welcome to the forum.

As for wishing you luck, I don't think you really need it. If you should be one of the "unlucky" ones, you'll endure some inconvenience getting it repaired but in the end you can count on Korg to make it right, so you're not really risking all that much in the grand scheme of things. I have no doubt that in the long run, the thousands of hours of enjoyment will overwhelm the minor hastle of any hiccups you may encounter along the way.

... I'm back with my Kronos 88 ...

Post by Myq »

To michelkeijzers , Lou and CaptLego : Thanks for replying and your wishes .

I'm back ... with MY KRONOS 88 !!! :D

I haven't unbox yet though . I'll wait for Christmas and have Santa Claus as my Guest of Honor for my Grand Opening Ceremony :) So now the LUCK percentage is still 50/50 I guess .....

Well in the meantime , I'll need to tidy up my "home studio" space and get some good rest to get prepared for the long , adventurous and , most likely , sleepless journey ahead once this TITAN is unleashed !!! Let the journey begin .........

P.S : Sorry for my shorter second post . I'm sleepy . Very sleepy

Your "luck percantage" is much higher than 50:50, after all I hear from people who bought the Kronos, no matter if 61, 73 or 88.

The overwhelming majority of those has no problems, so your chances are much better. For anyone who has problems, statistics won't help though. I wish you all the best and a merry Christmas!

Really? I hadn't noticed. :)

You have more self control than me - that box would have been opened before I got through the door! You do have a great Christmas day to look forward to though. Enjoy!
