I found global hut selling these for $2599 delivered preordered, these guys for real ? Who's got the best price?

Did that include tax and shipping?

Or is it a no-tax collected deal?

Seems quite low compared to my K61 at $2799 delivered (no tax).

I just price matched through Sweetwater.com at $2599 which includes free shipping.

They do not have them ready to ship though. And my order may miss out on the first shipments. Worth the wait.

I decided not to pay $134 for overnight shipping which may be tempting for some people.

A great price.

I pre-ordered my 61 though MusiciansFriend.com. A couple of days after I ordered, they ran a promotion offering 15% off any item ordered (there were exceptions, but it was not clear if the Kronos was excepted). I contacted them and asked if I could have that discount applied to my order and they responded saying that when my order shipped the discount would be applied. So, in theory, I am paying $2549.15. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that my order will ship without the discount, and I will have to argue with them over it. I am really hoping they live up to their commitment on this, as I was hoping to use the savings to buy some studio monitors.

You should email them or cal to make sure they do give you that discount. Often however brand names are exempt from their promotion discounts.

I'd check with them direct.

I preordered a 73 from musiciansfriend during their last holiday sale- called in the order and was discounted $500 so will pay $ 2999 +20 for shipping.

That is helpful to know Mailman. I did email them, and they did respond saying the discount would be applied at the time of shipping. I assume they will live up to that commitment.

I am frustrated with them though. I emailed them today asking for an update on the expected shipping date and they said "When they arrive in our warehouse we will ship them." They then referred me to the web site which shows 6/13 or 6/20 depending on how you get there (mobile or desktop browser). Gee, thanks. I also asked if I could change my shipping method from ground to overnight (they would not let me choose overnight shipping at the time of my order because it was backordered). I was told that I cannot because the order total has been preauthorized with my credit card and that the only way to change the order is to cancel it and reorder - which would cause me to lose my place in the backordered queue.

*sigh*

I though i was preauthorized for almost $500 more than they will actually be charging me?

I thought I was doing pretty good at $2799.
I keep reading different pricing here and there .. Oh well, after a while, just get the board here already!

yes, they did not have information. they did not know kronos 61 just arrived at korg USA...i think the info need a few days to be transmitted.
