No midi signal in Ableton

Is the X50 not compatible with Ableton? The device shows up in the DAW but there is no signal...

The X50 works fine with Ableton. The problem is you, or rather, what you don't understand. Let me guess, you only have a USB cable hooked up to the X50, right?

It was indeed me. Missed one tiny parameter in the global settings. Works like a charm now.

Great! Yup, there's lots of little parameters in there that can keep things from working right.
