Neverkorgagain, can you please give us some details about this 96MB procedure? Do you have a contact with I can speak about it? If we put more that 32MB, the OS is able to address them or it still use max. 32MB of them?

This is how u have to do if u want more memory... as u now pa1x have 2 x ram slots, and 2 x exb slots.... u just have to remove contoler for exb expansion, and to put another to make ur exb slots became ram slots...
so u will be able to put 2 x 16 + 2 x 32mb in exb .... its 96 ... it works fine.
Dont be so stupid to buy pa800... maybe little slower for loading sets... but i like it

hi neverkorgagain expl...me please...tnks

hi friend .. well I guess that this modification has to do a qualified technician .. I have a Pa1X (with speakers). is it possible to make this modification to mine ?.... Pa1X Is it not risky or dangerous to the system? ...

No my friend, its same thing with pa1x, but on pa1xpro there is a lot of place inside for this modification, but on pa1x u must cut some plastic from keyboard to get those contoler on right place... only problem is lack of space.
If u are not in hurry, wait untill i do mine pa1x, ill put fotos here, it would be done by now, but i didnt have time, to many work... ill do this expansion before february.... greetings.
p.s. i forgot to say, its not risky this is simple operation, my friend did over 50 keyboards till now, and never had problems with any yet...
hi neverkorgagain..very well

Hi Danibabil
Welcome again
Please do not be mislead by this so-called upgrade.
It is not an upgrade - it is a "
DO IT YOURSELF AT YOUR OWN RISK" hardware change which some claim to have worked and could render your keyboard unusable.
Korg does not support this or even suggest that it may work.
The PA1XPro has been design to accommodate 2 x 16MB RAM boards and 2 x Korg EXB expansion ROM boards (e.g. Latin and Piano boards).
The OS has been written to address and manage this supported configuration.
Personally I would not risk my keyboard with any such unsupported hardware changes.
Just my view.
Cheers
Pete
