Powercord/plug issue with Classic ProX

I have a Classic ProX that is having issues with the power plug (not sure about the technical name-- the port the powercord plugs into, on the back). Basically, keyboard doesn't get any power, unless you physically press the cord into the keyboard. As soon as you let go, it looses power.
There's obviously a bad solder joint, loose connection, or bad component inside the Triton. I'm getting ready to open it up, and see if there's anything obvious I can fix with a soldering iron.

Is there anything specific I should look for, other then the usual checking continuity with a multimeter? Any surprises I need to look out for, when opening up the Triton and getting back to that board? Are there any service manuals or schematics available? Any where to get spare parts, or a new board, if I need it?

I think that's probably more then my allotment of questions. Any help at all is appreciated.

Thanks!

Did you try a different power cord? Maybe the cord you have the holes may be worn thus loose connection?
