Need updated sounds

Post by shanny »

I need better guitar sounds for my Triton. Getting a Roland Fantom XR or Yamaha Motif rack to go with it is going to cost WAAAAY too much....is there a less expensive route to take? What about Triton upgrades? Any other good sounding racks to check out? :?:

Can you not edit the sounds within your Triton?

guitar patches on Triton

Editing still does not come close to the way Roland and Yamaha get their electric guitars to sound.....now patches come sounding realistic without having to do so much "work".....

I understand totally and found my only solution was to get a Roland Synth. I just got a Korg because I was looking for sounds and features the Rolands or Yamaha boards didn't have. Most of friends have 2-3 keyboards from different vendors to grab those unique voices that the respective brands are good at. Roland is great with electric guitars, especially distorted ones while Yamaha is pretty good with EPs for example. Of course this is subjective, but I find it to be reasonably true.
