Preload Disk, where to find? and Triton detuning when played

Hi guys,

Please help a buddy out.
1) My triton "detunes" as I play, especially acoustic instruments like guitars, harp, or of similar nature. My pa80 does that only when keys are stricken extremely hard, but the triton does is randomly and its embarassing and shocking and even disgusting. How do i fix this?

2) I also did a clean reboot and lost all data. I don't have the preload disks and been searching all over just found C and D banks. Just wondering if anyone kind can post link or email me all preload content. In other words, I want to make it just the way it was when I got it, recently acquired this unit.

Thanks!

oh thanks!!!

I actually did go to their site trying to find the "detune" problem maybe I didn't scroll all the way down to preloads after just seeing the OS upgrade files.

Let us know if the reset plus reloading of data fixes your problem. I'm curious as hell now...

actually it is still there. its in my subconscious now and i try to play really soft.

i have been going crazy-excited- loading all sounds and testing new stuff.

usually the trance, dance stuff is hard to observe being detuned.

but this triton has me over "sofia's place" combi, i really want to make it even better but it keeps detuning and i have to play soft. the detune i talk about sounds just like joystick Y up, vibrato/modulation, etc.

i also read some reviews on harmony central about other peoples' keyboards getting detuned and laughed as that would never happen to korg as i have brand loyalty towards korg, but it somewhat is disappointing.

not sure but maybe polyphony has something to do with it? some website i found had a user mentioning about "calibrating a joystick" from top right menu but other replies said no one could find it, maybe if anyone here knows that would be helpful.

hopefully more people can share insights, because when you get my problem, trust me it WILL get annoying and shameful especially if you play live on a big pa system.

also, one of reasons of talking about "sofia's place" combi too much is for reason I can relate to it and wanted to serenade my girl today for Vday.

I suggest you all do the same...but this dumbas detuning problem... sigh.

I'm a music technician at my local school and we have 2 triton pro classic. The 2 tritons have had the same problem that they detuned a full tone down mid way through playing them.

Both had a wire on the pitchbend that had come loose. Simple fix and soildered it back on. The wires are thin and seem to be slightly short to be comfortable on something that gets wiggled around alot!!

See if thats the problem
