I made this today using esx and kp3...anyone else doing idm with the esx or emx?

I see a lot of dance and stuff, but I'm kind of interested in more ways to get micro glitch sounds out of it and what not.

Song was live, btw.

Good IDM beatz you've got going there...

YEAH! The ESX EMX are very suited to IDM,
because you can tweak them in so many ways,
and because the effects routing is very complex.
(and it gets even more so with a KAOSS 3!)

IDM jam I did with a friend using 5 electribes and a VJ rig!

Vocal Jazzy IDM?

That shadowy box I'm holding is an ESX ;-)

nice track man. really liked when it all came together around 2:00.

here's a track i quickly racked out on an esx/ms2000 awhile back.. use to play it live alot, less of a song really and more of jam.. and dirty oldschool style/breaks leaning idm:

another, recorded live from the board @ a show in 2008, everything esx.. the low mid bass sounds really f'd up on some speakers.. way too loud, on headphones it sounds aces tho.. not sure what happended there.. probably a lame tweak on the eq level on the mixer:

and another from that same set, tho recorded @ home.. wish i had made the drums a little more upfront and less analog.. if i did i'd consider it a keeper. bass line/distortion is a sync/tweaked sequence on my jx3p, rest is esx;

which - the Kite Jam? Thank you.

You're doing good stuff there too...

Ha ha, this reminds me of when I got in a "flame war" on YouTube
with this guy who said that Electron monomachine was better than ESX for IDM
and that Electribes were toys...

I said that even if Monomachine (which costs about 2X the $ ) has more
synth power under the hood, the electribe was more usable!
