Case suggestions for the MicroKORG XL

I've read elsewhere on the forum that the MicroKASE is just a little too small for the MicroKORG XL (which is like 1.5 inches longer than the original)--does anyone have a suggestion for a different case for it? (I'd been carting it to practices and gigs in its original box until it spontaneously fell apart, luckily not while I was carrying it.) Or if you use an XL with the KASE just fine, help dispell the rumor. Thanks!

I use a Gator bag model GK 2110. It fits perfectly. Extremely well made. And only $30.

(I actually own two, another one for my microSampler - I also use the 1515 model for my EMX, and the 1212 model for my KP3)

Thanks for the suggestion! As you may know from another thread, I was also in the market for a MicroSAMPLER bag recommendation, so the extra info helps!
Sidequestion: I've heard that the MicroKASE allows a keyboard to be played keytar-style--have you found anything like that with the Gator?

Well, I suppose if you put some velcro on the underside of the MK, but it would look goofy. That said, Gator bags are lined with padded fabric that loves velcro - I use velcro straps for my cables and it stays in place inside the bag.
Also, attaching a guitar strap to the sides will turn any small keyboard into a keytar-like thing.

Yup. I got the Gator bag too! Read this thread and checked their website and everything: works great! At first it seems a bit slim for the width, but once you place it in there it fits great!

I'm about half tempted to try this. I really am wanting to do the keytar thing. I don't know of a way to install straps without modifying the Synth. There is a korg keytar coming out soon, that has mk sounds. But it's going to run $699.

does any one with the gator cases know if some like this would work for them as well? They seem to be more readily available here in Austin.
