Hi to everyone!

I have Korg PA800 and I have a question for you.
I have some AKAI disks with samples. How could I use them on my PA800? What is the procedure for converting from AKAI format to Korg PA800?

Thank you!

I believe you can buy a USB-CD ROM Drive for your Pa800 and just load the AKAI disks straight in that way.

Once loaded, save them back to disk as KORG files so you don't need the CD-ROM Drive all the time.

You think that Korg Pa800 sees akai format directly?
No need to convert akai format?

This is great if I can just stick usb CD rom and read every sample from akai disks!!

Yes, it clearly says on the official specs that it supports direct loading of AKAI format.

Ok, that is fine.
But, is there some software with which I can copy from Akai CD to USB stick?

Yes and no.

Nothing that will convert to Pa800 format, but you can use programs like Awave Studio to convert to Triton Format which your Pa800 can load.

It will still cost you more than the price of a USB-CD-ROM and it will generate more work for you.
