Any chance you guy's at Korg could make a Pad Kontrol 2?

I have Mr PadKontrol 1 & it's geat!
However I am finding that I'd like more sliders, pads & knobs.

I'm finding my new drum software kits to have 32 pieces!! Here is a shot of an 18

I don't like this design but it does have more pads & sliders. Great for finger bashing.

Errr...sliders at the bottom. Still, cool if your an Live user. Not for me though.

I wish you guys at Korg could make......

Kind'a like this. This way you have the drums & the added articulation specific to grouping. Obviously not an out of date keyboard but the essence of the design is there in it's foundation.

Korg should have chopped the Keyboard off the Kontrol 49 keyboard and made the control surface that remained into a self contained PadKontrol device, the flexibility that the Kontrol 49 has in terms of being able to pretty much tailor the pads and sliders etc to anything you need makes it one of the best Controllor keyboards out there.

The PK is good but could have been so much more flexible and universal if it had half as much as the K49 options for assigning messages/controls to pads.

I use the PK mainly for drumming, however I would like to use the pads as triggers for sending system exclusive messages to devices like the K49 can do.

I'm sure if Korg worked upon the systems they built into both of those devices into some self contained control surface it would be a very desirable device for both software and hardware, the PK is just too limited both with controls and programming.

Bashing plastic keys at velocity doesn't seem the same as many dedicated pads. 8)

I'm aware the 49 has a pad area.

Thank you to the people who have voted!
