I think this should finally put this issue for me to rest now. I came across a website (can't remember the link but if I search I am sure to find it). It had a thread which suggested that the korg triton touch screen assembly consisted of 3 parts. These were the outer screen which acted as a shield to the main inner screen which contains all of the necessaries and a thin gasket type material between them.
I think my outer screen for what ever reason may be the problem because in the bottom right corner there is a white opaque cast covering about 1 1/2 square inches. This has hindered because as we know all of the confirmation messages appear in this area when programming the keyboard. The rest of the screen works fine.
Question is if this is the case can I separate the outer screen from the inner screen and rotate it 180 degrees to position the area which is not functioning in the top left hand corner which of lesser importance thereby allowing me to regain most programming capabilities of the keyboard. Or if they are cables attached to this outer screen can i at least take it apart to attempt to clean it.
