Expanding Triton memory

I'm planning to buy a Triton Extreme. One of its main features I was looking forward to is the AKAI conversion. However, some of the posts about memory expansion problems sound scary. I have a Symphony of Voices AKAI set that I was hoping I could load onto my Triton (at least several programs at a time) - is it doable with the on-board 16mb of RAM or do I have to upgrade?

thats odd, I don't recall scary posts about adding memory. Other than 1 or 2 folks messing around and jamming incorrect sticks on the mobo
How would we know the size needed for your SOV samples ?

Well, there was for example a thread about it several days ago:

I'm sorry, I'm new to sampling - so if I have only 16mb installed, does it basically mean I can load AKAI samples that are up to 16mb large?

There is no telling what that poster did, originally.
do the math. If your fav SOV samples are under 16 meg, you are ok
eventually you will want RAM. Most folks in the US go to ebay and buy the silver from FOURNIERSEAN
