Hey everybody..I need your help...
I wanted to records some melodies I made during the last week.
SO I started like always, the same cables, same computer, etc and now comes the problem..
ALways when I want to record something there is a strange noise that I can't get away...Of course I can mix it with the mixing console of the programm with which I edit some sounds, but then I always loose the quality of the sound I actually wanted...
I use the Korg i30...
Can someone help me? DOes somebody know how I can get this strange noise away..? It's really frustrating because it's interupting me of working...
Here I uploaded this sound I mean..Hope some of you can take the time und shortly listen to it and maybe help me..

Hi N
That is a strange noise - do you hear this noise through the headphones as well as the line out?
Is the noise there all the time - i.e. whether you are playing or not?
Strange question here... is the noise still there even if you have the i30 in a different location? (I am wondering if it is picking up interference from something else.
Please let me know...
Cheers
Pete

no, I can'thear this noise nowhere, only when I turn up the "gain" leveler on the amplifier..But also then nearly nothing..
The sound is always here, also when I'm not playing...
I tried it to put the Korg in another room, but there was nothing changed..Now, It worked 2 times without this noise, since I opened this thread...I really dn't know why but somehow it started working and some m inutes later it was the same like before..
Thanki you for tha fast answer...!

This sounds like it is not a problem with the i30.
I used to get a slight noise on my i30 when recording directly into my PC - I avoid this now and go into my recording desk. There is so much going on in a PC which can cause interference.
Take your line from the headphones socket instead of the "Line out L/R".
If it is all fine except when you connect to your PC, then I would suggest that it may be a PC connection issue.
Can you try this on a different PC?
