Can the PA80 EXPORT .KSF (samples), or .KMP (Multisamples)??
THat aong with wave, Akai or AIFF are the only sample formats you can import (Kork Advanced edit manual (Sampling mode) page 28)

Not an expert on this, but I think that you could use the "Pa80 Card Converter". You can download it from the usual place:

Kind regards,

Once again..Can the PA80 EXPORT .KSF (samples), or .KMP (Multisamples)??
If so, all you need is to get them on any USB device (Thumb drive, Floppy, cd) or get them to the HD via PC.
That along with wave, Akai or AIFF are the only sample formats you can import (Kork Advanced edit manual (Sampling mode) page 28.
Assuming you can Export the files in the format the PA800 accepts, then all you would need is to import them in samplig mode. Then you will need to make multisamples (if you don't export .KMP already, which are multisamples) and programs.

musicaviat,
If you talking about me...I assure you there is nothing wrong with my comprehension! If you not talking about me, sorry to think you were.
He never answered MY question, so I could help him. SO I asked again
The original post was a simple question to a large issue...we need more detail as to what he wants here.
If his PA80 can not export one of the Korg formats, then he can not do what he wants unless he wants to sample the sounds of the PA80 with the PA800.

You go in RECORD MODE and from there you EXPORT each KMP as KMP.
Then in RECORD MODE you IMPORT the KMPs in PA800, same thing with
the PCG file, RECORD MODE on PA800, go to IMPORT and open the PCG
and then you can choose a single PCG or ALL. After that go to each PCG
that you imported and reassign its own KMP to it and resave it.

if you are using a Pa80 flash card and you want to convert your samples in the flash card and make a Pa800 set, you have to make a backUp of your flash card. go to DISK==> PAGE 10 and make a backUp. you need floppy disks. after it you can convert it with Pa80 converter to Pa800 format.

No problem...just trying to help.
Written communications is sometimes kind of hard...it would be fun if we could all just talk with one another!
