Done.
I'm against piracy but I'm also against Copy Protection systems.
They cripple honest paying customers who also have to foot the bill of the copy protection system, and the people who use the cracked versions have no limitations and no costs at all.

If anything copy protection promotes piracy as it drives up the cost of the programs and the desire to use them without restrictions. More importantly copy protection does not work. You can find any program you want on the Net in minutes. So what's the point of the copy protection in the first place.

Regards.

Sharp,
I agree completely, I recently had to buy an ilok for some eastwest samples = pain in the ass + $50.00, not fair for us that pay, should have been in the box. I will never buy a dongle or ilok again, if these companies want to protect like that, it had better be in the box, or I will go without.

Ah, the eternal piracy vs copy protection discussion.

I have to say Syncrosoft has been very good and easy to me. Nevertheless, I have a limited amount of USB ports in my pc so I have steered clear of ILok. Sooner or later I'll probably have to get something protected with that scheme as well but currently there are more cons than pros still - apparent compatibility problems and ineffectiveness of ILok being the main ones.
