I realized that the wish list was getting lengthy and easy to be ignored by the good people at Korg..

So, Let's all think of one wish you really, really want.
If for some reason there could only be one more modification done, what would you then choose?

Mine is simple and whiny:

Alternative filenames; It's annoying that the sample names are limited to one or two digits.
00-99.kps, 00-99.wav and 00-99.aif. That leave us with 300 samples right?
Wait, the manual states:
"NOTE In the case of WAVE files or AIFF files, the KP3 will recognize only file names consisting of a two-digit number plus filename extension, such as "00.wav" or "99.aif".
If both .wav and .aiff files with the same two-digit number exist, the WAVE file will take priority."
And WAVE files can not be one-shots.
So, only 200 time limited samples that can't be named, and half of them can't be ones-hots.
The .kpa situation is even worse. You can only have 1 (one) digit! A number.. So only 10 of those.
The alphabet would at least given us 26.
A huge waste of a 2 GB SD card..

There's both the little display and definitely the whole touch pad to scroll longer filenames like "electro.beat.120.bpm.wav".
Same with .aif .kps .kpa .kpp and .kpg.

There's already a possibility to to customize a text message for the touch pad, and all the settings scroll by perfectly. Why not a file name?

You can post a reply or PM me, and I'll update this one for a few weeks before spamming Korg with it.
There's no need to ask for something that's already on the list, unless you can add something clever to that particular wish of course.
And make sure that the feature you are looking for already exists (Talk to El Manual).

as an option, can the samples be "allways playing" and in sync with midi clock (start from teh start of a measure) and pressing the pads turns them on and off. and the slicer slices are not re-positioned (slices turn on and off but the timing stays the same)

(unless you can already do this? i couldn't figure out how)

Hopefully ASAP, but I guess you have to ask the good folks at Korg for that.

When you apply an effect to a sample, press hold and then change the volume the effect is dissabled, I find it very irritaring.
We've got a nice touchpad mixer now thanks to the update (thanks for implementing my wish korg! ) but we can't adjust levels AND hear the effect at tesame time

(I often use my KP3 as a drone-station, it's annoying you can't change the volume when there's a filter active for example)

Could this be changed, so we can adjust individual levels AND hear the effect at tesame time?

(being able to load samples without stopping playback would be really cool aswell! )

I just wanna give this idea a big bump. This is definitely my #1 problem with the current KP3 OS.

It seems like Korg is doing an Akai on their users; no more replies and no more updates..

I remember when Korg was small and friendly

If I had to pick one I would really like to be able to have Separate Send Levels for each pad (and for the input) via a shortcut.
ie. you press and hold pad A while you turn the FX Depth knob to adjust the effect amount applied to A

that would be awesome!

also i would like to use the MUTE button just for muting the input signal.
