is it possible to change the volume of a track set to the same midi channel as another track with having them both change? sometimes i combine sounds by setting them to the same channel but when i want to maybe adjust the volume of on they all get affected?

Yes. Each timbre or track has its own independent volume regardless of MIDI channel. For example, you could have two different drum programs (one in timbre slot 4 and another in slot 5) being controlled by KARMA Module A using GE 1852 assigned to MIDI channel 3. You can set your volumes from the "Prog Select/Mixer" tab in any combi. As an example of that, take a look at Combi A 10 Drawbars for Upper Funk. Notice all the different drum programs and their different volumes. Now go to the KARMA tab. Here you can see that Module B is set to MIDI channel 3 for timbres 5 through 12, yet their volumes are not the same (as shown in the Prog Select/Mixer tab).
