well im back again with some really top notch tunes! i got the radias purring really nice on these ones. so come on down if your interested.

the new songs are called 'Waiting for You' and 'Hit the Wall'
i had to work really hard on the EQ for the second track 'Hit the Wall' and im especailly interested in what you all think

Not bad at all Alex! Are these Radias drums? Do the guitars run through Radias? Bass? Effects? Or are just the synth sounds Radias?

I really love the brilliance in the sound.

thankyou guys, they are not radias drums.. but i do think the radias drums are very useable, but for different styles.. i havent run the guitars through the synth effects yet because i prefer the line 6pod. most of the bass is radias.......... ahhhhhh i love this synth.

well vocs are kinda done mainly with the autotune. there is a post i put up bfore that showed a bit more detail but there isnt too much out of the ordinary... all i know is that the way i sing really hurts my mouth if i have to do too many takes.. hehe

WOW botega, thanks... that was a nice vid.. i have often thought of delving into the melodyne plugin, and will in the future for sure... antares i like for what i am doing now becuase of its simplicity and the low cpu taxing... but melo looks great for a whole range of uses.. thanks man

I don't think so...
Something like this eats lots of CPU, I bet!

Besides - I also don't believe it's 100% error proof, even if they say it is (they must sell their product, after all). There just has to be something, that will make it crash...
And with MIDI editing, you just can't go wrong (if you know what you are doing, of course)
Also - I bet this program still works on MIDI... the only thing it does, is splitting polyphonic sounds in separated samples - the rest is done by MIDI.
I also don't think that it can separate different instruments in a real mix or percussion instruments.

And how will you control your hardware synths?

So I'm 100% sure that MIDI will hold its well deserved place.

What's also cool about it, it's not only great for production, but also for notation!!! No more suffering when making sheet music or tabs! Just load your live recording into this thing, do some adjustments, and you have your sheet music!

Somewhere I saw an Autotune 5 vs Melodyne comparison and the Atune5 came out slightly ahead but the answer truly seemed that they can be used together for better results. It is a good tool but too many turn it on at the beginning of the song and off at the end using auto mode. Now there are plenty of top name artists out there who use this to both fix their performance and/or as an effect.
