Mod wheel on my midi controller is still glitchy...how does one disable it???

I guess... either filter out the MIDI data it's sending, or... use a hacksaw...

i'm in the process of getting bome's to filter out the necessary signal. even though the hacksaw WAS a great idea, i'm gonna opt for midi filtering...thanks for all your help.
