Pa1x series had the Latin Expansion card option, does

Post by AudioProCT »

Pa1x series had the Latin Expansion card option, but the PA800 and PA2xPro does not, did those styles and loops dissapear or are they already built in?

I had played the PA1x with the Latin exp and it was great, does anyone know for sure if they are available for the newer boards?

Thanks

Sorry - I don't know - I would have loved to get the Latin card for my PA1XPro but the expansion boards are prohibited in my country. :(

Cheers

Pete

Frankie,

The original EXB cards were discontinued by Korg because of a problem with use of leaded solder and the design not meeting EU legislation (called ROHS) that came in last year.

There is a third party manufacturer in Germany making re-programmable EXB cards for the Pa1x that are ROHS compliant, at 200 Euros each, and I think they will program the cards for you if you tell them what styles etc you want. If the price doesn't put you off, send a reply here and I'll try to find the contact details for you.

Best regards,
Rob
