can anyone tell me how to get a normal piano sound on TR?
all of them seem like someone is beating on a can of some sort, especially on the higher octaves!
I would be most grateful if someone would send me an edited piano sound that sounds at least piano-ish or tell me which program to edit and in what way.
Since I spend most of my time playing piano and some sort of organs in my band this is very important to me.

Pa1X, Pa1X Pro, Triton Classic, Studio, Extreme, Rack, Le and TR compatible. In all cases 32MB of sample RAM must be installed. LE and TR users do not need the sampling option installed, but you do need 32MB of RAM installed.
does this 32MB of ram include those on my SD card or something else?!
Sorry for my noob questions, but what are those extra 64 megs used for?
I loaded new programs over the existing programs i'm sure i'm not gonna use...
I don't think you can *load* new programs without the additional RAM - you can edit the existing ones and overwrite in order to save the edited program. However, if you wish to upload new patches to your keyboard via SD card, you will need RAM - that's where the patches are loaded.
The other thing is, once you've turned off the keyboard the patches will be erased from the RAM memory which means you will have to load them each time

yup... i loaded 3 or 4 new programs over the existing ones, and they are still loaded after turning the keyboard off.
I don't think i'll need many new programs (maybe some NORMAL pianos and some new hammonds) but i can easily save them over the existing programs i won't be using... like drum sets for example.
Well, good for you - I don't think I'll be able to be of any more assistance here though - maybe you should wait and see if someone else might have an idea.

The thing with RAM memory is that it is used to load new samples in the keyboard. The samples are stored on the SD card and you need to load them every time you power on your keyboard. The TR itself has around 440 internal samples witch are modified and used to make programs and they stay in the TR after a power off. all those settings are stored in a .pcg file when you go to media save all option. The samples are stored in a separate folder and .ksc file where are writen positions of loading those samples. I know it's a bit confusing but when you come familliar with that it's very simple.
