When a variation is playing and then fill is pressed, and then immediately variation again, the system doesn't play the fill to the end, it interrupts out of time and starts playing the variation. This interruption throws the song out of time and it's hard to get it back again.
This is a problem with factory rhythms and user rhythms.
So, it doesn't play the fill to the end when variation is pressed.
It's very inconvenient when I'm playing alone, I don't have time to pay attention and wait for fill to do its thing and then switch to variation.
I've been using the Pa4x for 5 years and that never happened there, I was used to pressing fill and then variation, I knew it would play the fill and when it finished it would automatically switch to variation.

Re: Pa5x Fill problem
It depends of style editing structure , If elements are set to "immediately" and not to "next measure" then it goes to next pressed element Fill/Var
and if multi time signature exists then regular measurement is lost !
Read manual of how changes of Style elements can be programmed and how they behave in style play according to the measure they were selected.
