USB limit for the Pa5X... and joystick cover is plastic...?

Post by G »

Hello,

According to Korg USA support... they even verified it after I questioned it...

All 3 of the USB ports on the Pa5X can only handle up to a 1GB USB stick...?

And then also... they said that the cover over the joystick is made of plastic and not metal...?

Can someone please confirm...

Thanks!

I have a 32GB SanDisk connected to the front USB port and the PA5X has no problem accessing the entire memory. The same goes for the other USB ports

As for the joystick cover it is plastic. What is the topic you want to address by this plastic vs metal?

Yeah, I figured... you can't even find a reputable company (Samsung, SanDish/WD, etc.) these days that makes anything less than a 16GB USB stick.

There are a few reviews on YouTube, etc. that stated that the joystick cover was metal - so after Korg support was wrong about the USB, I thought they might also be wrong about the cover.

And would obvious rather it be made of metal also, but, yeah... lol
