Chord Sequences (created via DAW)

Post by peterbransche »

Hello all, I find it challenging to create clean and accurate chord sequences in real-time on the keyboard. Does anyone know of a way to create chord sequences in your DAW and load them to the Pa5x?

At the moment, there is no way to import chord sequences; they have to be created on the PA5X only. Hopefully, Korg will get that feature in a future software upgrade.

Hi,
I was playing around with this software, a year or so ago.
It’s a bit weird with the way chords are put in. Eventually got it working, though not sure I remember how I did it.

From there I decided to see if I could use my sx900 to record the chords across to PA5x via midi. That worked reasonably well at the time. SX sends chords across via midi.
The other software I tried was Band in a Box output chord function. At the time , total disaster, Korg was playing strange chords, not the ones I put in.Maybe I had wrong settings.

The 3 methods I tried all sent “ chord “ data, via midi to PA5x.
Not all familiar with Daws , so don’t know if any do.
best wishes
