Midi and VH

Post by Bernie9 »

Is the vocal harmony on the Pa4X able to pick up the chords in a midi file? If so, what setting is it.

If a MIDI file has the "vocal harmonies" or "chords" in a MIDI track then the PA4x can use that track purely for vocal harmonies.

Example is that many professionally created MIDIs have a dedicated "vocal harmony" track.
E.g. Tune1000 MIDIs by default use track 5 as the vocal harmonies track (up to 4 voices).

In this example on the PA4x you would need to configure track 5 as harmony track (or "Voice Processor" track)
This should solve your question.

See page 551 in the latest PA4x User Manual
