Are only the Korg nano controllers usb plug and play with the Nautilus? Has anybody tried to get this working on the Nautilus without a PC in the middle? They are less than $200.

Has anyone found any other USB accessories that work natively?

I believe any class compliant USB midi controller should work out of box. Personally I've tested by Yamaha digital piano and my Arturia Minilab MKII and they both work without a problem.

I hope so but I kind of doubt it now. I picked up a Nektar Impact LX88 that has 9 sliders as well as 8 pads on it and while the pads are very easily mapped, the sliders can not be mapped to the drawbars for the CX-3 engine. Those are SYSEX only, not CC's. And there isn't even a CC assigned to the 9th drawbar (Master).
Korg's nanoKontrol (the original, not the current nanoKontrol2 model) had 9 sliders (instead of the current 8... Korg, you're killing me!) but mine is at a rehearsal space for a band I'm no longer in. I'll either track that down or buy another and see if that works. Without drawbar control, the Nautilus is completely off my list of future purchases.
EDIT: Here's a good discussion on it with the SYSEX info.

So I picked up a nanoKontrol, and it also doesn't work with the CX-3 engine.

Hi McHale,
Julius (on the two videos I posted) has created setup files for use with the original NanoKontrol.
Check out the comments with the videos. There is a small charge for these setup files.

Thanks for the video link! Now that I know a global setting to map midi inputs, I might be able to make some progress here. Haven't been able to get anything but simple note on/off to work up to now.

In the global settings you can assign CC values to the sliders but that won't work for the CX-3 engine. If there's something I'm missing I'd love to know what it is but it's sysex only I'm afraid.
