MS2000 Audio In from headphones like MS20

Has anybody experimented with running the MS2000's output (headphone or R out) into the Audio In jack to thicken it up like the MS20? I'm guessing you'd have to use a vocoder program sing the Audio In doesn't operate an ESP module like the MS20. Any thoughts?
