I guess, same as always. The difference will be preloaded content. Form the description on Thomann, the international version comes with over 600 styles, and the Musikant comes with over 700 styles.

Sharp.

According to Jurgen Satorius from Korg Germany..
- a few hundred styles (for german, alpen and dutch music)
- up to 4 GB of extra sounds (many from the kapro libraries
- many new keyboardsets
- and an expanded songbook selection

There might be some parts of the OS and the paneltext in German, no word on that yet

ok, and is there a chance to buy the international and later load the musikant content?
i don't want a german system but some of the styles and songbook would be nice.
i never understood why they make a separate musikant? it would be much more easy and flexible to sell the content as an add-on software.

and if i buy the musikant, what content will be missed from the international?

We can not know for sure, but i would say thats not an option (technically)

The Pa5x has
8 GB user samples
11GB factory samples (with room for expansions)
4 GB space for localised versions

Those 4GB are not accessible for users, so its not likely that users will be able to access it for expanding their keyboard

Dear PA*X Musikant owners. I never owned Musikant version before, but would like to try it this time, when it becomes available. At the same time, I don't want to lose the ability to use my older content.

I know pa5X musikant is not available as yet, but based on your previous experience, could you please kindly confirm if the following are the correct statements:

"You can load a factory (or bonusware) style from an International PA into your Musikant and it will be sounding correct and exactly the same as it sounds on PA international. But not vice versa: a factory-style from PA-musikant may not sound correctly on PA-international"

and the second statement:

"Factory styles from a previous PA-musikant version will be sounding correctly on a newer PA-musikant version (all instruments mapped correctly) e.g pa3x musikant factory styles may be loaded into pa4x musikant and they will be sounding the same or better"

Thanks for your help !

Regarding the first statement : 100% correct

Regarding 2nd statement :
As far as I know ( never ha a PA3X ) the files can be loaded without any problems and should work as before.

BUT : In PA5X the "older" styles have to be converted ( this feature is integrated in the PA5X ), MAYBE the sounds have to be corrected, MAYBE they´re converted as well during style-conversation automatically.

Anyway : You should spend a bit time to "optimize" the sounds / effects etc.

For the time being it seems that no songbook conversation from 4 to 5 is possible, but I´m quite sure that this will be available very soon ( hopefully with a better Songbook-Editor for PC ( MAC )

i like the case of the international model better. but i think i could resell it better one day. i don't find the german labeling very well translated. for me, it fits better in english.
but i find many styles of the musikant interesting.

what do you think - is it possible to get a musikant setup in an international model from korg?

One more question: is PA4X Musikant's operating system in English? E.g, when you go to settings on the touch screen, what language is there?

OS is exactly the same. Only chosen names of styles or KeyboardSETs are in German language.
