Anyone ( i hate to keep asking Pete to help me ) please help an old dog a few new tricks.

1. soft 8 beat defaults to lower and upper and split light is off
how can i change this to lower and split light on ?

2. how do i use the front sliders to change pad volumes ( i.e turn the light on in the upper left ) with the assign knob.

the manual is truly terrible/almost offensive

please help or ill have to burden PETE again

Hey Glenn

The key to always having the "settings" you want is to use SONGBOOK rather than trying to get a style to load the way you want.
So, select your style and then press all the buttons you want activated etc.. and create a SONGBOOK entry.
There are further options in the SONGBOOK entry to consider.
Let me know if you would like some specific examples.
