Newbie question. Been trying to work this out for many hours.

When I try to make a new sound under Init Performance going onto Layer A and changing default wave sequence to Single Multisample and then selecting any sound eg a piano the volume is stuck at 100% even if I slightly tap the keyboard. Velocity sensitivity has disappeared from the multisample. I'm not talking about the sample changing to another sample via velocity but rather midi velocity data won't work on it. When I play around with preset performances or programs velocity changes are there and work fine.

Please help.

when you select an init performance then the velocity parameter is set to zero, that makes sense, because you are going to program your own sound with your decisions about the behavior of that sound.

If you want to add velocity control to your sound just press:
- Amp envelope button
- turn the velocity knob in the envelope section
