Video sorftware for people with no patience

Hi there everybody! Hope you are all well and safe. I'm hoping that someone here can help me. I'm trying to make some simple videos of free images online put together with music that I've recorded. I really don't have much patience for all of the fiddling about that so far, all of the free video software out there seems to want me to do.
Drag and drop. That's what I want. And then later have cross fades and stuff between each image. And I want to very easily, First pop my audio in then pictures. Music then visuals. That's how I want to do it. With little or no futzing about.
I barely ever watch music videos so you can guess how important they are to me. I'm an old fart! My stereo didn't come with video. Oh well!
Here's the thing. I can't seem to find a simple as all can be free program. I certainly don't want to pay for something unless it turns out to be so easy that my cat can run it.
I simply want something that pretty much runs itself. I upload my music track and drag and drop pictures into it. Then I tell it to crossfade or whatever between the images. That's it. That's all I want.
So please! Can any of you here recommend something to help a poor sad and fed up with nonsense old guy?
All thanks are in advance!
