can I load my korg pa3xPro backup into korg pa4xPro ?

Hi
Does anyone know if I can load my korg pa3xPro backup into korg pa4xPro ?
I maybe want to get a new PA4Xpro instead of my old korg pa3x from year 2011, but I have a lot of samples , and made a lot of change to styles and so , thats why I'm asking..
Hope anyone could help me

Hi Kurt
You can load your PA3X SETs which contain samples - I did this when I bought my PA4X and have not had a problem.
You cannot load GLOBAL parameters and cannot load (restore) a .BKP backup

You had the Pa3X Pro before ? How about the keybed , is it even better on the Pa4X or do you think it's the same ?

Loved my PA3XPro but the PA4X move was worth every cent.
Even though PA3X sounds were outstanding, PA4X tops it IMHO.
I find the PA4X keybed to be the best and very similar to my Kronos, however, I don't think there is a lot of difference between the PA3X and PA4X 76 note keybeds
PA4X new OS design and new and enhanced features are excellent. Be aware that the "logic" behind the PA4X OS is to make full use of SONGBOOK, SETLISTs and KEYBOARD-SETs - I drive everything from SONGBOOK - styles, MIDIs, MP3s etc.... PA4X does not have PERFORMANCEs as in the PA3X
There is a little bit of a learning curve but worth every minute and it is so so much better.

Hi guys, I just received my new PA4X. Upgraded from the PA1000 which was upgraded from the PA3X etc etc (onward and upward I suppose)
Was wondering if it was possible to load the styles and songbook entries into the 4X from the 1000 without worrying about data corruption etc. Will it all work or are there risks involved?
I would hate to be faced with the task of re-entering all songs and setlists from the 1000. Yikes ! That would be a chore.
The other issue is the different style locations on each board. Wouldn't this mess up the Songbook, SetList entries? Probably causing incorrect styles to match with the wrong songs. Makes my head spin.......
I'm hopeful there's an easier solution......Cheers
