Is it? Maybe some users will read this and won't update, until there's a fix available!!!

But-but-but ... Microsoft PROMISED that Windows 10 updates would be PAINLESS and SEAMLESS and NONDISRUPTIVE!

I don't want to live in a world where Microsoft could be wrong!

... returning to reality: this is why I don't use Windows 10 for anything important to me, and why I avoid it anyway quite aside from any separate gripes about Windows in general. In fact, this is closely linked to the reason that I'm taking my studio as hardware-only as possible.

My main workstation is still on 8.1. It just worked beautifully so I wasn't about to take a chance. Though more and more companies are stopping support for older OS...including 8.1 . :(

I thought Microsoft was The World. A Pink one made of Perfect Candy.
Good point about HW studio, if only I could play well enough to survive in one.
Richard Thomas. In order of appearance:
Roland HP1700, Roland SC55, Bohemia Acoustic, Alesis QS8, RME Babyface, REAPER, Kronos 2-88, RME Digiface USB.
Given up trying to play them, now I just play with them.

Hard to say who's fault it is. Maybe Korg did a bad job writing their driver?
Also, Korg have had a lot of time to test this against beta builds of Windows 10. I actually blame Korg for this.

Can't say I've seen any problems so far....

But I will go and double check.

Hi,

Just curious what th identified problems are. I've been do rehearsal today and my rig uses USB connections to my Montage and Kronos, with an NUC PC running Win 10 (all latest updates) acting as my MIDI Hub and VSTi host, and I have not had any problems.

I did the May windows update right around the same time I upgraded to Ableton 10.1 . I use a microstation as a midi controller and all of a sudden Ableton would not recognize the microstation . So now I know why. I thought the issue was Ableton. The microstation does show up under devices in windows.so that points the finger at korg.

Don't get me started on Amazon (they gobbled up and destroyed many people's livelihoods over the last 20yrs) or their trojan horse they are calling a personal assistant! Uli is a saint compared to Jeff.
Stuff I'm using: Umm right now, well there's a Volca Drum, a Micro Freak, an ADX-1, a Pulse, a Blofeld, a UNO Drum, KeyStep/Beatstep Pro/Keystep Pro (one of each), a Circuit, a LiveTrak L-12 and this nonsense: The Brief-case as it was about a bit over a year ago (the the complete ridiculous GAS monster collection here)and here

no fluff, no tracking, just pure internet!!
it is a darn shame every one wants to monetize every click!!
it all devalues each dollar!!
