How do you " rate " Kronos forum [ scale of 10] ?

Post by GregC »

I am on other keyboard forums , groups and have some basis to compare.
Plus I have participated on various forums for +15 years.

I think highly of our Kronos forum. My opinion is 9.5 on a scale of 10.

The 9.5 is based on all the history here, plus, in comparison to other or similar forums.

FYI, this isn't about Korg Corp or their service outlets. I thought to rate the forum itself.

You don't have to agree with me, or give a high rating. Everyone has their experience which is important. Feel free.

I’m with Greg, I’ll give it a 9+. I bounce around between Korg Forum and another forum, but I spend more time here than the other site. I’ve shared and received a lot of great information here. Occasionally I’ll find that the website is out of service. My initial reaction is, oh no 🙈, I hope it’s not gone.

10 out of 10, and no question.

This is easily the most useful forum I've ever come across. I find it particularly helpful because, although I have quite a few musician friends, I work entirely on my own and am only in contact with one other Kronos user (who lives on another continent, anyway). So it's been invaluable to me. I get the same thought that Falcon2e has on those odd days when the forum disappears from view!

The quality of questions, opinions and answers given, and the overall level of the conversation round here is certainly very high above the other synth groups I attend to. I rate it 9/10.

I would say 9.75. Over the past 7 years I have asked a few questions, got a lot of looks but no responses.

Very helpful community.
The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because I'd like to see more activity.

So would I. I think part of the reason is Korg's decreased Kronos related products.

Folks get into whats new. I am curious like that for Kronos.

I still assert we are living in the golden age of the all in one w/s, thanks
to Korg and Kronos. An 8 year run is proof to me of a golden age, or an era, call it as you see it.

I appreciate what we have with Kronos and this great great forum especially.
