I use the SD card frequently to backup and reload data. (Sng and pcg files). Suddenly all my SD cards are indicating a write protect status even though I have not moved the physical switch on the card or have done anything else to cause this. The same cards inserted into other devices are not showing as write protected. I upgraded to 1.0.4 just in case that would fix this but no change. Any ideas? I have 2. Krome 73s. The same cards work fine on the second keyboard. Btw I own 2 of these because when I only had one there were reliability issues and missed a couple of gigs due to breakdowns.

I would say the mechanical pen-switch in the SD=slot, that detect the [write protect] switch on SD card hangs or went defective.
Try insert/eject few dozen times fast with write protect switch on/off in/out the SD-slot to fix/reseat/release the stuck pen mechanism inside.
If that doesn't fix then something is broken/defective inside that SD slot.

I have the same issue.
No idea how to fix it.
Frustrating!

try to put sd card to pc. check it read only or not. if same result krome, maybe sd card fault.
