Update IMPOSSIBLE

Hello,
I have a big problem with my Monotribe.
Voila, it is just impossible for me to update because the combination of keys before turning on the machine does not work at all.
It is even impossible to check the version!
No key combinations function.
Someone would have an idea about what's going on?
Is there a way to return to the factory settings?

Are you running it on batteries or power supply?

It's running on original Korg power supply

OK, so what happens when you turn it on with while pressing the GATE and PLAY buttons?

Nothing happens, Monotribe turn on like if those buttons wasn't be pressed.

Does the gate key do anything when the machine is switched on?

Same suggestion. I suppose Bernard already made sure that those keys (PLAY and GATE) are working as intended under normal usage?

Of course !
Everything works fine in the normal way. I just have any access to update mode, cv/gate mode and other fonctionnality which demand a button combo.

From the update instructions:
"...monotribe will not enter update mode if the batteries are depleted"

[1] Make sure there are no baterries inside and unplug everything else.
[2] Check with fresh batteries.
[3] Check with a different power adapter.

Just to make sure it isn't something basic - to check the version you press play and gate-time (while monotribe is off) and then turn on monotribe while holding both buttons (play&gate).

But I think I tried everything : fresh batteries, other power adapter with different amperage...

And no, checking version does not work either, like all other key combinations.

Invalid button combinations are ignored, so for example play+gate+8 will enter normal mode. Perhaps one of the other buttons, which you do not press, doesn't work correctly?

No because everything works fine in the normal way
