Pa700 vs Pa1000
Pa700:
Keyboard without AfterTouch (pa1000 semi-weight)
No Sampler
less Ram for User Samples 128MB vs 300MB
No Voice processor
single player vs double in Pa1000
no Upper/lower scanner switch
smaller speakers 2x25W vs 2x33W
Only 1 USB (host) (no front)
and few more differences I miss it.

I suppose that you should play each one (if you can) and see which one feels/sounds the best for you.

The PA1000 has those extra features and extra sounds, but you should look and see what your application really is and pick the one that suits that application.

I just bought the PA700 last week (got it on Thursday) and it still blowing me away. I've only scratched the surface of what it can do. I am very happy with it thus far. I have posted in a different topic my experiences so far with the PA700 so maybe read that and see if that helps any.

Harry

I think Pa1000 makes more sense if:

1. You plan on using Vocal Harmony.
2. You want/need to use the sampler extensively.
3. You really want and ready to get the best out of the two, simply because you can.

:) Other that these, I think Pa700 offers a lot and is a better bang for the buck.

Korg pa 1000 has more sample accommodation but does not that slow the booting process when we load more samples?
Indeed, Korg does not work more on reducing the booting process time. If you load more samples it takes more booting time. I currently face the same issue on my korg pa900.
