Worth getting Legacy Collection even if I own Kronos 2?

I have recently wanted to use soft synths outside of hardware workstations and I came across the Korg Legacy Collection, which I heard good things about, but I'm wondering if there are any overlaps between the collection and the Kronos 2?

It depends on the musical palette required but, on the whole, it is worth getting the KLC, for several reasons.
The Kronos doesn't contain any Korg M1 Programs and Combis, apart from the M1 piano and organ sounds.
The Kronos offers wavesequencing, but the existing Kronos Programs don't include the original Wavestation sounds, whilst the KLC offers a pretty good emulation.
Both of the above include fairly comprehensive collections of the expansion cards available for the original M1 and Wavestation.
The MS-20 PolySix and Legacy Cell are extremely good. Although the Kronos has "engines" to emulate these, the KLC can be used to effectively add to the Kronos' voices in a Program or Combi without affecting Kronos' polyphony.

Hi
Actually, if you do a search on this forum you will find a thread wth a link to the original WS presets converted to Kronos HD-1, when I referenced against my KLC Wavestation, they sounded identical.
Obviously that is only the original presets, so the KLC would win for every sound bank you can get for free on the net or still purchase (Karma Labs have some good ones for sale).
Worth a look/listen anyway
