SV 1 editor issue

Hey all I became the proud owner of an sv 1 88 few months back however the editor programme is wrecking my head, every time I launch it I'm only getting the back up page, I've downloaded all necessary drivers etc but no luck, does anyone out there have any insight I would be so grateful, I'm running Mac OS, Mac book pro. Thank you
