Kronos internal noise coming out the mono channel

So I've had my kronos for a bout a year and a half now and have dealt with this issue on and off for the entire time I've had the unit. Essentially anytime i plug out from the L/mono (it exists on the right channel too, but drastically less) I get a relatively overpowering hiss. My first guess was something to do with the connection, the cable, or something hardwarw related. But then i found that in setlist mode i could EQ out the hiss. Does that mean that its an internal issue? In some venues I cant even use the board because it affects the sound so much.

Could it be one of your audio INs is on and the gain knob on the back has been turned all the way up?

The source of hiss are Kronos audio inputs. Go to Global - Audio and set audio input bus to off.

I always get the buzzing when i have cables inserted to the inputs and the other end sits open and on the floor.
I just unplug the cables from the inputs and all is fine. I guess some sound system setups could pick up the buzzing from the open inputs without any cables plugged in, if the input gain were set high.

Of course as mentioned before, the turning off of input bus in global, is the best way to go.
