I am trying to upload a set of USB styles, sounds, percussions on a PA800. I have a feeling that I need to override the copy protection on the existing software. I have version 2.02

The locked USBs can't be unlocked.The set they have inside doesn't overwrite factory sounds or styles so no need to unlock them.
To answer your original question,factory sound and style protect is in the media preferencies on the pa800.If you can't find it,tell me to boot my pa800 and tell you the full path!
