Hi, I don't know but I don't think so.
Troubleshooting chapter in Owner's Manual (page 22) tells if the volume is too soft when the tube control is turned on, then it may be that the tube is worn out. Based on this I think: even if the tube is worn out there should be some soft sound.
On the same page there are other simple hints for your problem.
