Volume Drop Out Issue

Hello:

My wife recently bought a KROME 61 and absolutely loves it to bits, bar one issue: for some unknown reason the volume drops out to around half its original level while playing. It just seems to cut - still playing, but much quieter. My wife reckons there is some connection with her use of the sustain pedal, but I wonder if that would be the cause of a volume drop out.

I was wondering if anyone here had experienced the same issue with the KROME and/or had come up with a solution and/or cause?

Thank you so much,

Cheers,
Stephen

If that's the sound cutoff that everyone's talking about, I think it's a very common problem with Krome. Don't really know the solution yet but maybe this link helps you.

I am having the same problem with my 2 yr old Krome. Volume just cuts out in the middle of playing. So far only in sequence mode. L or R outputs it occurs with. Tried different cords, not using damper, volume or switch pedals and no luck. Believe it's an internal problem. Tried TRS cables, 1/4"-1/4", 1/4" to XLR, but still happens

TO CLARIFY

Just to clarify this problem has nothing to do with the click pop cutoff problems the piano sound has and the related internal SD card replacement fix. I actually already went thru that and solved that problem, only to be greeted by a new one a few months later where the volume cuts out to near nothing in the middle of playing.
