Hi all, found the following video whilst searching for 'goat dance' references.

" Met a redneck on a Grecian isle, he did the goat dance very well.
He gave me back my smile, but he kept my camera to sell..."
Joni Mitchell: "California" 1971

It is Romanian folklore played for the Romanian community in Italy, Torino.
But i am afraid it's not actually "played", the melody is recorded on Intro1 or pads, i have seen it before

Thanks, Reidoo, for the explanation. That's an unusual dance and I love the goat and horse costumes. What seems bizarre at first glance, becomes sensible with a pinch of added knowledge.
Here's an energetic ritual performance by the Witchmen Border Morris, (no goats but bears this time), at a '
Straw Bear' Festival. Music played by their own (non-electric) button pushers.
