Nope.
1. Simply chosen a new CX-3 program from KRS-06 in program mode, no edits done...bang...hanging notes...playing all over...hitting the keys again...everything´s fine!

2. Program from KRS-06 in an init combi, copied all ifx to timbre 1.

That´s mysterious!
Cheers, Michael

Nice one - didn't bother with the last update as it didn't look like something I needed at the time.

But now I've got a spare 128gig SSD, some ram, it seems like a great time to update. Might even look at the networking thing now :)

Will have a look this week :)

2.1updt Can I assign footswitch in Combo to turn on timbre?

Post by Michael H »

Hey Guys,
Looking for some help.
So I was wondering if I can now mute/unmute a series of Timbres within a Combo for Live playing by assigning a footswitch to them?
If so how?
Hitting extra buttons while playing ties up my hands.
Before this I was doing an inefficient workaround using the FX Section to turn on and off each timbres audio.

Thanks for any insight!

Great update, Korg! Thanks! Love the new organs, and the live mutes is fantastic.

Also I would be interested if there is a CC number that can be used for switching a timbre on or off.

I was planning on looking into this today when I get to the studio. If nobody else has responded I will post my findings later.

Still figuring out how to post and quote on here.

Thanks!
Anyway it would be great if someone else could take a wack at it. I couldn't really find what I was looking for in the controllers scheme.

Just setup my rig after installing OS 2.1 in my kronos 61. When playing a kronos piano on my m50-88 on MIDI Channel 2 and holding a CX-3 chord on my kronos on MIDI channel 1 the organ sound is cut out when piano is played. Definitely a bug not experienced previously! But it's weird, it doesn't happen when playing low root notes with my left hand on the M50-88 and a CX-3 chord with my right on Kronos, which is my usual application when playing live. Fortunately I think I will be ok until a fix is released, so long as you don't play the same note on both boards.

Greg
There is thread on this and Dan at Korg confirmed a bug.
