I just bought the Pa600 and i was a little bit sad because styles was very different than Yamaha's psr s710 styles who i had before.
Now I am complete in all respects.I have one question about V2.0 version if includes BonusWare styles and sounds inside.Thank you!Sorry for my english too...

you use your keyboard in a very normal way - there are more sounds and styles but how to select them - in the same way like all the other - I strongly recommend you to read your manual.

I´ve just another question - what´s the difference between the 600_V2 and the Dopamine Set 1.7?

Are those packages from the same source or from different developers?

I created the Dopamine set (currently v1.7) with 2 goals:
- Keep the original factory resources from the PA600 to be 100% compatible with every style or sound created for the PA600
- Fill all the available memory slots with high quality resources which have been developped by Korg mainly but were available as separate files in different formats in different places.

I also added some other brands with conversion I did, and some high quality contributors resources trying to identify the author and get his/her approval to include them.


PA600v2 is a different set from Maestro1982. As he explained in first post, he changed/optimized the original factory resources, so it will sound different.

Up to you to test both and judge by yourself. None is perfect. None is bad.

first of all i want to say that all my statements are my own subjective thoughts.

I compared the V2 set and the V1.7 Dopamine set.

For me i love the v1.7 more but i think is is only a subjective taste.

What i think in general is that the sound (espacially drums and Bass) has to improve a lot to sound more realistic. The PA600 is a relatively new keyboard but it doesn´t sound realistic for my ears.

My 8 year old PA1X with my Expansion Boards sound much mire realistic and better than the PA600.

So far from my side - i´ll record some demos with the PA600 and with the PA1XPRO to explain better what i mean.

NO, you can't.

Is this compatible with the PA300 too ?

PA600 v2 is not compatible with pa300. Dopamine set it is. But u cant load all style from Dopamine because you dont have enough free user slots on pa300 but u can chouse what styles to load. U can unprotect factory styles and put there too, if u have free slots, or delete from factory if u dont like it and put there some from Dopamine.

The main compatibility issue with PA300 comes from the lack of User memory for waveforms, so you can't load new sounds.

The Dopamine set uses several user sounds. When that is the case, there is generallly a star symbol * following the style or the STS name, except for Drumkits user sounds. If drumkits are missing somewhere, it's quite obvious, and you should select a replacement one for the track.
