First, my name is Michel Keijzers; it is not so hard to spell it correctly since it is in the post above. A little bit respect would be nice, even although you did not like my post(s).
Second, I suspect you are Ron (the moderator of the facebook site) itself, looking at the grammatical and long sentences you use; including the tone of writing.

Dude, you're fighting the wrong battle here.
I make sounds to be released here, because people request them from me here, and I get credit and have a reputation HERE for my work.
I don't want someone downloading all my sounds and re-releasing them elsewhere. On one hand, I can't stop that, but on the other hand it's disrespectful to portray anything else than what's been done here.

I would not be to worried about a facebook club with only 26 members...
There are much worse places on the internet when it comes to illegally sharing stuff that they dont own..
And yes, i agree with you, Ron was totally out of line with the respect that we are used to treat eachother with.

I have this on a lot of my stuff for a reason. You really need to check it out. It's free and may protect yourself down the road.

How about someone actively SELLING programs, combis, etc?
->
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kid-Nepro-Korg- ... 3cf70c3631 <-
What's the chances that there are pilfered sounds in a collection of that nature?
The reason I ask is because back when I bought my Roland BK-7m I went looking for more styles for it and found a guy on Ebay selling a memory stick with something like 10,000 styles. So I bought it. But when I actually got the memory stick, I found that there were only really something like 1,000 (if that) ORIGINAL styles on it. All the rest were duplicates. And to top that off, nearly all of them were easily located with searches on the Internet. So all this guy did was to do the same kind of search I did (for my own personal use) but decided to SELL those styles commercially.
So I'm guessing the same thing is happening with Kronos files as well.

I don't believe in certain speculation like that or ' guessing ' . I think you are lumping apples and oranges together because of what you see on eBay.
Kid Nepro, AFAIAC, has an excellent rep. He does a great job with his customers. He is one of the few surviving ' patch programmers' from the 80's.

+1 on Kid Nepro, he has been around for ages and is famous for some of his Triton sample packs. Bad example to use.
There definitely are people selling pilfered stuff. Selling nor sharing someone else's IP is ok.

I don't think he sells them, but on the list that I seen once (on facebook) there were a lot of files WITHOUT author names and even without author approval created by KorgForum people, while Ron wrote he either created them or were 'free' on internet to be used.

That's happened to us over on EX5Tech as well, with sounds that people like myself have made and given away for free. Our release conditions prohibit people from selling them or putting them in compilations without our consent. And all to often author credits vanish.
Even worse free sounds are hoovered up and then sold on ebay. Have you ever tried to get ebay to take auctions like those down?

Ebay is a double edged sword. It certainly helped new customers find me (yes, that is me in the above link, thanks for the support Greg & Sander). However, it’s also filled with guys who just troll the internet for free stuff, assemble it into one big file (20,000 sounds for like 10 bucks) and could care less who they are ripping off. It “is” hard to do anything unless your sure that’s it’s your stuff.
I don’t actually go looking for guys like this. Cause if I did, I’d be spending all my time doing it. There are hundreds of them out there. However, if someone contacts me about it or if I happen to come across one of my sound collections being copied & sold, Ebay has their VERO program, which I’m a member. Once you join, it’s simple to file a complaint. Ebay is actually really good about this and every time I’ve had to make one, the auction gets removed right away. Anyone selling sounds/software should check it out. Chalk one up for the good guys.

thats the point guys

You might be able to read 4 languages but I can only understand about 10% of what you just wrote. I'm just gonna throw this little word out there, it's called punctuation. Google it.
What do you reckon Sharp? Have we had enough of this guy yet?
