Hi My Friend Dtscape
thanks for your report, I liked your questions, because they are highly relevant
1- Tried using the piano patch but found them a bit bass heavy for our system
Korgman............. Each sound system has only a particular frequency range, so in TFX2 there is an equalizer .. equal adjust the piano as you wish or You can accomplish this balance by changing the parameters of the EQ program of piano. and of course adjust the volume in proportion to these adjustments. and obtain the frequency response appropriate for the sound system you are using. This is the art of taming this wild horse .. mastering the art of manipulating audio .. Kronos as if it were a digital mixer sophisticated .. and I assure .. it is the
2- I'll send you a copy very shortly. Most of them are single patches and a lot are created purely for use within a combi.
Korgman.......... Ok send their combs so I can test them
3- Tried recreating a patch called 'death lead' from the moss board of my triton. Really struggled with it. There are a lot of things missing in the Kronos compared to the Tritons moss as far as I can tell. A sine sub osc for 1. Never really programmer the moss before so all a bit confusing!
Korgman................. coll..Moss also had a card in my old Korg Triton Studio, an exceptional card, however .. I realized a few months editing synthesis that nothing compares to Kronos.
Our conception of the power of this keyboard is still the tip of the iceberg technology.
But it is worth examining how the engine edit AL1 and MS20EX and Polysix EX. You will be amazed at the results. but this will have to master these editing modes.
Then great friend!! Hands-on course, and many sleepless nights to get the results lol.
Hugs
