I've always loved long progressive songs so here's my attempt. I tried to keep it in the 70's British prog band style. There are a few various "tips of the hat" to bands like Pink Floyd, and Genesis.
Hope you like it.

Everything was played be me. Mostly the keyboards sounds come from my Kronos with a little bit of King Korg. Guitar is my Fender Stratocaster and the bass is my Ibanez 5 string.
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!

Wow, you must have put a lot of work into this! At time it reminded me Marillion. Well done!

Dniss +1

The stupid thing about soundcloud is that its so hard to find any music there even though its the biggest online music streaming service on the planet. Its very difficult to experience new music there if you dont know the artist by name.
They now have "the upload", but that is like 20 songs.. :(
It should be like youtube, stuff recommended on you likings/subs and not handed to you once every 24 hr..

BTW great work Jeremy :)

That's a good point. I posted something there years ago and I couldn't find it.

Our band

Post by Gaston »

Dear Forum Sisters and Brothers,

Here's our band. Seven of the nine songs were composed entirely on Kronos then track by track was replaced with real musicians (bass, drums, guitar, keys). I hope you enjoy our music and thanks so much for checking us out, sharing our music and for all the helpful tips here on our forum over the years. A very special thanks to all at Korg for making this incredible instrument; for helping us all feel and play the muse that's coming to each and everyone of us.

A Great Amalgamation of the best Prog Rock of the 70's in my opinion. I sense Styx, Tull, Genesis, UFO and a little Deep Purple. Great Job Jeremy! Drums to me sound very good as well.

Here's one that I wrote a few years ago. The Kronos was used for bits and pieces of it. Sort of a chill/acid vibe I guess. When I did this I had just watched Casino and had that movie in the frontal lobe.

Seven of the nine songs on our new album were created entirely on my Kronos 88, then drums, bass and guitar tracks were replaced with the live musicians in our band. Anyway, I hope you guys like it. A very special THANK YOU to everybody at Korg for making this incredible workstation for us all!

My tip of the hat to the Who! I'm not Roger Daltry but I try.
Hope you like it. I've always thought that the Who were the best rock band the world has ever seen.

I was fooling around last night with some guitar combis and i stumbled upon a lovely 12-string/pads patch (forgot the name) and i couldn't stop playing it!

Before i know it, here i was recording something with it and laying down some Kronos drums and E.Bass.

The tune is nowhere near a finished track but i thought i'd share it with you here just for fun.

You can never know what patch in kronos's universe will trigger inspiration.

6 years and i'm still amazed by this instrument.

I really like it and I am impressed with guitar pad and 12. strings guitar (bass is great too) sound. Is it fabric patches, or custom one? Please can you remember what patches did you use, if you used fabric patches. Is it a Kronos 1 or 2? best wishes for your next song, and thanks for your share.
